First update post-launch
This is the first update to the game since the launch back in February.
New soundtrack !
The major addition of this update is a new title screen theme. Since the game features no text whatsoever, it was important to welcome the players with the best title screen possible. Most players were confused, they didn't know if there was music in the game or not. Having a title screen music will solve this issue.
Since the soundtrack is now complete, I decided to release the soundtrack on youtube. Here is the link :
I decided to go with French titles. I love giving French titles to my music and it's not a big deal if players don't understand the meaning. The game is about being lost in an unfamiliar place with an unknown language. So the titles are left vague and ambiguous as to not spoil the story to French speaking players !
New secret area !
The secret area was already in the game. However, since I did not expect players to find it, it was not fleshed out. This is why I added a new music track for the secret area. In addition, I added a save icon specific for this area. If you save there, your savefile icon will reflect that !

Bug fixed !
Since this update is all about music, I decided to fix an issue at the very start of the game where the first cutscene would play no music at all. This is no longer the case.
That's it for this devlog. As a personal note, I must admit it was very refreshing to come back to the game after one month of rest. I had a lot of ideas for more secrets and more stories but I think I need to focus on making the game fun and understandable first ! We'll see if I find the motivation to improve the game further or if I want to work on other projects.
To those who read up until this point : have a great day !
